Exalting the Name of JESUS

But God demonstrates His
own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us.
Romans 5:8

"In this is love: not that we loved God, but that
He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation
for our sins." 1John 4:10

For God SO LVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Why has God given all power to JESUS' name? Why the name of JESUS, and not other names? Because He was the only One who suffered the cross and shed all His blood to pay for your sins and mine.

God made Him who had no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2Corinthians 5:21
Being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the Name of JESUS every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that JESUS CHRIST is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:6-11

"Nor there is salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:12-14

Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them." Matthew 18:19-20

By faith in the name of JESUS, this man whom you see and know, was made strong. It is JESUS' name and the faith that comes through Him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see. Acts 3:16

All the prophets testify about Him that every one who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. Acts 10:43

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17
