If I speak in the tongues of men and of
angels, but have no love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can
fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have no love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and
surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is
patient, love is kind. It does not
envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not
rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no
record of wrongs.Love does not
delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always
protects,always trusts,always hopes,always perseveres. Love never
fails. 1CORINTHIANS
13:1-8

"This is how God showed his love among
us: He sent his one and only Son
into the world that we might
live through
Him"
"This is love: not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent his Son
as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1JOHN 4:9-10

"And this
is his command: To believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us." 1JOHN 3:23
"A new command I give you:
Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love
one another." JOHN 13:34-35 |
"The goal of this
command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere
faith." 1TIMOTHY

"For God did not give us a spirit of
fear, but a spirit of power, of love and of
a sound mind." 2 TIMOTHY1:7

"Because God has poured out his love
into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has

"If
anyone says,"I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who
does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen."
"And He
has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother."

WALKING IN LOVE: A DECISION
God's love is revealed to mankind in calvary.
When we acknowledge and believe in our hearts that we
have been redeemed through Jesus Christ by grace
[Eph.2:4-9] and accept and receive God'
love, it is then when the man's heart is steadfast and prepared to give freely what he has
received freely. In the same moment that we accept by faith God's forgiveness for our sins
and receive JESUS as our Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to abide in us, and with Him, God's
real and perfect love is poured into our hearts. [ROMANS
5:5]
There is a commandment from
God to all humankind: "To believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love
one another as He commanded us."
1JOHN3:23
This commandment consists of
two parts [To Believe and To Love] and both go hand on hand. : FAITH AND LOVE . We believe
when God's love is revealed to us through Jesus Christ ... and we can love when we have
believed. "For in Christ JESUS neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself throuh love."
[GALATIANS 5:6]
"The righteous will live by faith."
[ROMANS 1:17] The real faith is not feigned,
nor it comes from human strength; it is a gift from God to our lives whose Author and
Finisher is JESUS himself. The true FAITH works by love.
If the righteous will live by
FAITH and FAITH works by LOVE, then in order to remain in FAITH it is necessary that we
remain in LOVE.
How many persons will be bold,
honest and sincere enough to accept that they have not decided to walk and remain in LOVE?
How many christian people, having received God's love in their hearts are still living as
though they have not received it?
We begin to walk in love when
we accept that we are not loving as God demands us according to his Word. We then consider
that we must be perfected in love and take the decision to love, using our will, to obey
the Word of God." Looking unto JESUS, the Author and Finisher of our faith."[HEBREWS
12:2]
"Be imitators of God,
therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and
gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." [EPHESIANS
5:1-2]

LOVE THAT SURPASSES
ALL UNDERSTANDING
" For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, |
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, |
That He would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, |
to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; |
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; |
that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, |
May be able to comprehend with all saints |
what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; |
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, |
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. |
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask |
or think, according to the power that worketh in us, |
Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ JESUS |
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. |
EPHESIANS 3:14-21 |
