When everything is pleasant and bright
And the things we do turn out just right,
We feel without question that God is real,
For, when we are happy, how good we feel ...

But when the tides turn and gone is the song
And misfortune comes and our plans go wrong,
Doubt creeps in and we start to wonder
And our thoughts about God are torn asunder -
For we feel deserted in time of deep stress,
Without God's presence to assure us and bless ...

And it is then when our senses are reeling
We realize clearly it's faith and not feeling -
For it takes great faith to patiently wait,
Believing God comes not too soon or too late.

Take the Savior's loving hand
and do not try to understand,
Just let Him lead you where He will
through pastures green, by waters still,
And place yourself in His loving care
and He will gladly help you bear
Whatever lies ahead of you
He will see you safely through,
No earthly pain is ever too much
if God bestows His merciful touch.

There are three treasures
More priceless than gold.
For if you possess them
You've riches untold -
For with faith to believe
What your eyes cannot see,
And hope to look forward
To joy yet to be.
And love to transform
The most common place
Into beauty and kindness
And goodness and grace.
There's nothing too much
To accomplish or do,
For with faith, hope, and love
To carry you through,
Your life will be happy
And full and complete,
For with faith, hope, and love
The bitter turns sweet.

We all have cares and problems
we cannot sove alone
But if we go to God in prayer
we are never on our own ...

And if we try to stand alone
we are weak and we will fall,
For God is always greatest
when we're helpless, lost and small.

And no day is unmeetable
if on rising our first thought
Is to thank God for the blessings
that His loving care has brought ...

For there can be no failures
or hopeless, unsaved sinners
If we enlist the help of God
who makes all losers winners.

I come to meet you God ... and as I linger here
I seem to feel you very near.
A rustling leaf ... a rolling slope ...
speaks to my heart of endless hope.
The sun just rising in the sky,
the walking birdlings as they fly,
The grass all wet with morning dew
are telling me I just met You!
And gently thus the day is born
and night gives way to breaking morn
And once again i've met You, God
and worshiped on your holy sod
For who can see the dawn break through
Without a glimpse of heaven and You?
For who but God could make the day
and softly put the night away.

God knows no strangers,
He loves us all,
The poor, the rich,
The great, the small ...
He is a friend
who is always there
To share our troubles
And lessen our care ...
No one is a stranger
In God's sight,
For God is love
And in His light
May we, too, try
In our small way
To make new friends
From day to day ...
So pass no stranger
With an unseeing eye,
For God may be sending
A new friend by.

Love is like magic
and it always will be.
For love still remains
life's sweet mystery!

Love works in ways
that are wondrous and strange
And there's nothing in life
that love cannot change!

Love can transform
the most common place
Into beauty and splendor
and sweetness and grace!

Love is unselfish,
understanding and kind,
For it sees with its heart
and not with its mind!

Love gives and forgives,
there is nothing too much
For love to heal
with its magic touch!

Love is the language
that everyone speaks,
For love is the one thing
