In my lifetime-I've known much love
Love of family, love of friends.
Still my heart was always searching
For that Love of loves that never knows an end.

All my fears and all my failures
All my sorrows, all my sins.
From the Lord there are no secrets
He is Light and He reveals all that's within.

He has told me that He loves me
Even when I fall behind.
Only His love lasts forever
Jesus loves me all the time.

He is patient He is gentle
Always giving, always kind.
All consuming all constraining
All compassing love could only be divine.

Someone knows me, really knows me
He has promised to be with me come what may.
And He loves me, yes, He really loves me
Someone knows me and He loves me anyway.
